Which country and what kind of safari business?
Too many choices too many risks?
Safari Investment Advisory is organised to answer these specific questions for the new investor or a well established safari business. We have many confidential opportunities in several countries. However, the land is not going anywhere and is not the main challenge facing your investment decision.
Generally, Safari Investment Advisory prefers to be mandated by an investor so that the best possible opportunity can be researched, identified, modelled and then secured. Africa is a very big continent and its true size is not well depicted on standard world maps. For example, when flying from Johannesburg to London the flight takes close to 11 hours but of this 9 hours is over Africa. Another way to try to comprehend the real size of Africa is that one can fit the entire USA (including Alaska), the whole of China (with disputed territories), the whole of old Europe and still have South Africa left over that is on its own large than Germany, France, Holland and Belgium together. Local knowledge is therefore very important.
Safari Investment Advisory therefore focuses on understanding your specific situation and then matching this to already available opportunities or finding opportunities that may not currently be available.
The Last Word Group acquire The Bush House Madikwe
Safari Investment Advisory recently advised The Last Word Group on their acquisition of The Bush House Madikwe to expand their footprint in the safari side of their business adding to the 6 suites of Kitara Lodge in Klaserie Game Reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park. Safari Investment Advisory also advised The Last Word on the joint venture with the Crabbia Family for Kitara before COVID impacted their business.
The Bush House was owned and operated by husband and wife team of Gordon and Sue Morrison for 16 years and they now head off for a well deserved retirement.
